It sounds truly magical and wonderful, and for those who dare to open their minds to something new somewhat mystical that there are forces of the universe that you can use to make dreams come true.
There are certain rules under the law of attraction that many of its promoters do not spend enough time sharing, and because of this, many people who try to follow the concepts become even more confused and frustrated because their dreams are not fulfilled by the universe.
Here are 4 common mistakes when trying to use the law of attraction in your life.
“The earth provides enough to satisfy people’s needs, not for their greed.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi
1. You deceive yourself that everything is okay and positive
Positivity is mentioned quite a lot in the law of teacher attractiveness, when you think about the positive, you attract positive energy! That’s not wrong. But you MUST be happy about the things that you are really unhappy with.
In fact, the more people try to force themselves to be happy when their hearts are broken with disappointment, guilt, fear, or shame, the more they distance themselves from the reality they really want.
Since childhood you have been taught by adults that you are not allowed to be disappointed, cry, protest, you are only allowed to feel happy, satisfied about EVERYTHING. After time, the child begins to go further and more naturally emotionally, instead of putting a mask of happiness on his face, daily, pretending nothing important to him, all is wonderful.
Then, when they encounter something irrepressible, the consequences are truly incalculable, right under the mask of their happiness can be a shy, depressed, self-deprecating, hot-tempered person even cruel.
The truth is that you have to really master your humanity, which means allowing emotions to not only be acknowledged by you, but actually felt, expressed naturally, and the more you don’t do this, the more you tell your subconscious and your inner child, you’re really not good enough. You have to be happier and more positive for me to accept you and love you.
It’s no wonder why so many of us feel unworthy of love without knowing why. We have spent years hiding our true feelings and thoughts. What you need to understand here is, honesty is a higher vibration than false happiness.
When a person is truly attuned to reality, they actually find that they themselves can use the power of emotions to their advantage and can actually feel emotions deep within. That’s how we heal these emotions versus letting them lurk in our minds.
2. You focus on appearances more than substance, long-term benefits
The mistake a lot of people make is getting what they want materially rather than the end goal for themselves. They begin to believe that the most perfect thing is the car, the house, the relationship, the money, etc. However, nothing can be further from their material value.
The real goal should be spiritual values, spiritual healing, how you believe that the things you are trying to achieve will make you feel at peace. For example, one might believe that a new relationship will make them feel more fulfilled, so they take the time to visualize this dream person will take all their pain and frustration away.
The mistake here is to believe that anyone or anything outside of life is the key to our happiness and satisfaction, which it is not. While relationships, money, and a new car can bring you short-term excitement, enjoyment, and a higher quality of life, at the core level, they can never satisfy us permanently.
When a person simply focuses on their own healing, it means identifying beliefs and limiting fears that have formed subconsciously that make you feel that ‘I have no value’.
Basically, when you focus on healing your own heart and wounds from the subconscious, you really do NOT need to do all the tricks that affect the law of attraction, because life will align everything with its most worthy destiny, simply because we feel whole and healed.
3. You still focus on conflicting patterns, judging yourself
True judgment is the essence of the ego and mind. Polarized or dualistic consciousness simply means a reality in which everything is seen by their opposite. So the mind gathers everything into two files, good and bad.
Now what you may not realize is that these judgments are things sent to the universe to heal. This means that you will appeal to what you have just evaluated, and continue to do so over and over again, until you stop evaluating what interests you, inadvertently attracting them to life.
Every time you criticize yourself for being angry, for feeling sad, or laughing at others for not having as much money as you do, what you should say to the universe should be: “Give me more opportunities to heal this judgment.”
When you can come to a place of sincere acceptance, unconditional love, and forgiveness for all the things that you have previously judged, rest assured that this is the perfect storm for life to begin to bring you your highest destiny. When you can see the divinity and perfection in everything, it is then to truly express the perfection of the reality you have envisioned.
4. You still blame yourself or others for the way things are going
If you can surrender to the fact that everything that happens is there to help you and is not really your fault or anyone else’s fault, you will automatically align yourself to the will of the universe and your highest destiny.
Since blame is another form of judgment, it’s not uncommon for people who constantly blame themselves or life for the way things are going, continuing to appeal to situations that make blame. One of the first and most important steps in using the law of attraction is a process called forgiveness, letting go.
This step is difficult because depending on where you are in the healing process, it will work against you if you try to overcome it faster than your heart requires.
For example, you may be really disappointed that you didn’t get the job you applied for and actually feel like you did better in the interview where you were going to be hired.
To overcome the bitter truth of that moment, you blamed yourself, for not trying harder in that moment. You’ve established yourself as inferior, the universe doesn’t have to give you a better chance.
The healing of our natural emotions and natural perspectives must take precedence, but at a certain point we must recognize perfection in every situation. Everything is really happening for a reason and that reason is to improve our lives.
