Have any of us ever wondered why Mr. A and Mrs. B are always lucky at work in a way that seems like they don’t need to put in the effort? Do any of us believe in the “Law of Attraction”?
The law of attraction can be easily understood as “What will you think about, talk about, believe strongly and feel strongly about it.” – Jack Canfield In other words, from thoughts, actions to words are made up of energy and impact on each person’s life. Therefore any of us can attract anything with concentration, energy and all minds. Through these actions you can use the Law of Attraction to pursue your dream job.
Decide what you want
The first step should be deciding what you desire for your dream job. It is impossible to achieve a goal if you do not have a goal. Start with the question: “Why do you want to change jobs?”; “What is it about your current job that you don’t like?” Answer these questions and find the intersection between what you like and are good at. Think about what your life will look like in the next 5 or 10 years. Once you’ve identified your goal, write it down and share it with close people. There is always a strong correlation between setting goals and accomplishing them.
Think with intentions
Finding your dream job using the Law of Attraction requires you to think purposefully. Instead of just reacting to things happening around you, take a closer look at what you think and feel. Once you’ve identified a goal, practice imagining how you’ll feel when you achieve it. For example, if your dream job is to become a Brand Manager, imagine how you will feel when you take that position, how your brand revenue will grow every day or how your brand will reach the top trending. These positive thoughts will help create the future rather than just being stuck in the present.
Focus on the future
To find your dream job, it’s important to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want. When you’re worried about your work life, it’s easy to get caught up in thoughts like “I really hate my job,” “Why am I wasting my time at this company?” Or “I really want to get out of this toxic work environment.” Instead, focus on the end goal. Replace those negative images with positive ones like “I love my job,” “I’m enjoying every minute of this company,” or “I love working in such a supportive work environment.” If you can change your mind now, you’ll be more likely to achieve what you want in the future.
Believe you can get to your goal.
Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t — you’re right.” No matter how much effort you put into achieving your goal, if you don’t believe in the core of the problem that it’s possible, you’ll never reach it. One way to encourage this thinking is to practice visualization into your daily routine. By creating a vision in thought or “dream board”. Make an eye-catching “dream board” and place them somewhere that you can see every day, you will naturally be more motivated to achieve your goals. You’ll even start noticing yourself doing unexpected things that bring you closer to your dream job.
Take action
All thoughts are useless without action. The actions need to be taken clearly, such as you want to study for an MBA to gain more knowledge when becoming a brand manager. This is when you need to believe in who you are. Follow your instincts when you feel the things you need to do or the people you need to meet to accomplish your end goal — even if you’re not sure why. Wallace D. Wattles, author of The Science of Enrichment, once said, “According to thought, what you want is brought to you; by action, you get it.”
The Law of Attraction is not magic and is not instantaneous. Applying the Law of Attraction requires patience, effort, and training. The time it takes to achieve a goal will be different for everyone. However, the recipe is simple. By combining two essential components, thoughts and actions, along with gratitude and appreciation, you can create the life you want.
